Hand-carved, specialty smoked meats to be served to diners in new concept (Arizona News)
Famous Dave's at Mesa Riverview is updating their award-winning barbecue offerings to include a new service concept called "Quick Que."
The fast-casual format of service has become a very popular lunch option for diners across the Valley and while Famous Dave's restaurants take pride in their full-service hospitality, the local franchise owned by John and Romy Erlandson is excited to offer hand carved, delicious specialty smoked meats to their guests in their new Quick Que format – essentially right in the middle of the dining room, who prefer a speedier lunch meal option.
"We're thrilled to now be offering another means to serve our guests premium-quality, succulent BBQ right out of the pit," said Erlandson. "Meet the Pitmasters while they hand carve the meat right in front of you and experience the difference at Dave's. We'll have made from scratch sides on the line as well as coolers of beer, sodas, homemade lemonade and waters to wash it down, pay for your meal and get in and out easily."
Erlandson and General Manager Ricky Solano will also be focusing on bringing diners smoked meats you won't always see on the regular menu and upping their creative Pitmaster BBQ game with options such as Smoked Pastrami, Charcoal Chicken, Smoked Prime Rib to name a few – all smoked in their 2 ton Camelback Smokers out back. All the fixin's will be served in a food hall environment.
The hospitality and full-service that diners know and love will not be going away at Mesa Riverview Famous Dave's. The Quick Que Cut Station and Line is an additional option guests can choose to indulge in or they can be seated and a server will provide a full menu for you and your party.
